SAMPLE EXTRACTS OF PROJECTS
FRANKFURT ON MAIN
In 1991, the Frankfurt Airport sewer, a large egg-shaped section, was rehabilitated with one of the world’s first SOLTA®LINER FIBERGLASS – a rehabilitation hose composed of a combination of fiberglass and needle felt. That project already employed UV-light curing, a process which today is predominantly used for fiberglass rehabilitation hoses.
STOCKHOLM
The rehabilitation of a fire hydrant pressure line in downtown Stockholm was a challenge both unusual and exciting. The job was completed right on schedule and professionally, using a SOLTA®LINER PRESSURE, to the customer’s satisfaction and for the safety of the citizens in the old part of Stockholm.
SINGAPORE
Since 1999, several hundred kilometers of sewer pipes in this city state have been successfully rehabilitated with SOLTA®LINER INVERSION und SOLTA®LINER PULL. The installation sites were continuously supervised by experts from Singapore who, attributing particular importance to an implementation of impeccable quality, monitored each and every step of the process.
TAIWAN
Potable water pipe rehabilitation
A particular challenge was the installation of DN 900 potable water inversion liners in Taipei, Taiwan. In summer conditions, several 100 m segments of the liner soaked in epoxy resin were installed into one of the holders directly located on a main thoroughfare.
